Ngày Quốc tế Hợp tác xã được kỷ niệm vào ngày 3 tháng 7 với chủ đề “Cùng nhau xây dựng tương lai tốt đẹp hơn”. Các hợp tác xã trên toàn cầu sẽ thể hiện cách họ ứng phó với thảm họa đại dịch COVID-19 bằng tinh thần đoàn kết và khả năng phục hồi, đồng thời cung cấp cho cộng đồng sự phục hồi lấy con người làm trung tâm và công bằng về mặt sinh thái.

#Ngày_Quốc_tế_Hợp_tác_xã sẽ là cơ hội để quảng bá về cách một mô hình kinh doanh lấy con người làm trung tâm dựa trên các giá trị hợp tác của sự tự giúp đỡ và đoàn kết, cũng như các tiêu chuẩn đạo đức về trách nhiệm xã hội, có thể giảm bất bình đẳng, bắt đầu tạo ra sự thịnh vượng chung và phản ứng phù hợp ảnh hưởng tức thì của COVID-19.

Hơn một tỷ hợp tác xã trên toàn thế giới tiến hành chứng minh rằng không ai cần phải tự mình đối mặt với thảm họa như đại dịch trong các lĩnh vực y tế, sản xuất nông nghiệp, sản xuất, bán lẻ, tài chính, chỗ ở, cơ hội việc làm, đi học, chăm sóc phúc lợi, và nhiều lĩnh vực khác các lĩnh vực khác, nơi hợp tác xã được tìm thấy.

NGÀY QUỐC TẾ HỢP TÁC XÃ 2021: LỊCH SỬ
Ngày Quốc tế Hợp tác xã đã được các hợp tác xã trên toàn cầu tổ chức từ năm 1923 và được Đại hội đồng Liên hợp quốc chính thức tuyên bố nhân kỷ niệm 100 năm thành lập ICA vào năm 1995. Ngày này được tổ chức hàng năm vào ngày thứ Bảy đầu tiên của tháng Bảy.

Mục tiêu của Ngày Quốc tế Hợp tác xã là nâng cao nhận thức về hợp tác xã và thúc đẩy các nguyên tắc của phong trào hợp tác về đoàn kết trên toàn thế giới, hiệu quả kinh tế, bình đẳng và hòa bình toàn cầu. Kể từ năm 1995, Liên minh Hợp tác xã Quốc tế (ICA) và Liên hợp quốc thông qua Ủy ban Thúc đẩy và Tiến bộ Hợp tác xã (COPAC) đã cùng xác định chủ đề cho #CoopsDay.

Lễ kỷ niệm năm nay sẽ là Ngày Quốc tế Hợp tác lần thứ 27 của Liên hợp quốc và Ngày Hợp tác xã Quốc tế lần thứ 99.

The International Day of Cooperatives also commonly known as #CoopsDay will be commemorated on July 3 with the theme “Rebuild Better Together." Cooperatives from all around the globe will demonstrate how they are responding to the COVID-19 pandemic catastrophe with solidarity and resilience, while also providing communities with a people-centered and ecologically fair recovery.

Bruno Roelants, Director General of the International Cooperative Alliance (ICA), said that over the last year, we have seen how the cooperative model has contributed to people’s well-being and environmental stewardship, highlighting what the cooperative movement stands for. “We will reconstruct better collectively, and I am convinced that we will witness many examples of how the cooperative movement can help communities grow stronger in the post-pandemic world,” he stated.

INTERNATIONAL DAY OF COOPERATIVES 2021: SIGNIFICANCE
#CoopsDay will be an opportunity to spread the word about how a human-centered business model based on cooperative values of self-help and unity, as well as moral standards of socially responsible, can reduce inequality, start creating shared prosperity, and react appropriately to the immediate effects of COVID-19.

Upwards of one billion cooperatives worldwide proceed to demonstrate that no one needs to face a disaster like the pandemic on their own in the fields of health, agricultural production, manufacturing, retail, finance, accommodation, job opportunities, schooling, welfare care, and many other spheres where cooperatives are found.

INTERNATIONAL DAY OF COOPERATIVES 2021: HISTORY
The International Day of Cooperatives has been observed by cooperatives globally since 1923 and was formally declared by the United Nations General Assembly on the centennial of the ICA in 1995. It is observed yearly on the first Saturday of July.

The goal of #CoopsDay is to raise awareness of cooperatives and to advance the cooperative movement’s principles of worldwide solidarity, economic efficiency, equality, and global peace. Since 1995, the International Cooperative Alliance (ICA) and the United Nations through the Committee for the Promotion and Advancement of Cooperatives (COPAC) have jointly determined the subject for #CoopsDay.

This year’s observance will be the United Nations’ 27th International Day of Cooperatives and the 99th International Cooperative Day.
